Power Conversion and Distribution System

In PCDS, the electricity distribution system is revised or modernized in accordance with the regulations and power needs of the aircraft. EWIS design can be made according to the loads to be designed to be added to the aircraft. Regardless of the generator voltage levels in the aircraft or the voltage levels of the loads, the electrical system can be modified according to the power requirement and needs. The aircraft or mission can perform power routing, transfer and switching according to flight methods. The complete system takes power from variable frequency generators and converts to 28VDC, 220VAC, 115VAC and 270VDC depending upon the requirement. Conversions are made via high-efficiency power converters. Electronic Circuit Breaker Units (ECBU) provide all protections such as over current, short circuit, over-voltage, over temperature and phase unbalance to protect loads. ECBUs are programmable based on FPGA.
